David Foster is an experienced Board-level advisor, facilitator and change manager. He has unusually broad organisational experience and is thus able to work quickly and effectively with staff across all functions and levels to identify & solve challenges relating to organisation, operation and strategy.
David's personal mission since 2007 has been to improve productivity in organisations by enhancing the relationships between employees, whether in senior, back-room or front-line roles. This is most simply expressed as getting people facing in the same direction around clear goals.
He holds an Executive MBA from London Business School, where he focused on change management and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
David taught part-time to Master’s level within University of Brighton, Business School, from 2013 until 2020, rising to the level of Senior Lecturer in 2020 whilst fulfilling a rewarding role as Interim Course Leader for the MBAs.
From 1995 until 2007 he ran Direct Experience marketing agencies, where his teams delivered many millions of face-to-face product interactions for more than 80 blue-chip consumer brands.
Based on his MBA learning and teaching, his experience of running complex people operations and his understanding of mindset change, David helps people to become more productive within their teams and organisations and to adapt positively within dynamic environments.
Since 2016 his Curious Cloud methodology has been taught to undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as to client teams, and you can download a copy of an academic-style article which explains the approach below.
